Both sides are on 11 points heading into their final game of 2018 at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday (20h15).

Bakgaga can draw some encouragement from recently winning the Telkom Knockout, while the Team of Choice carry a game in hand on Wedson Nyirenda’s side near the halfway mark of the season.

"Actually it's not a kind of game that is going to be easy," Mdantsane tells

"It won't be too easy but we are preparing very well, we are looking forward to it. It's our last game of the year, so we just want to close with a smile. So we are just going to go there to apply ourselves and get the job done. It's an important game for us, we have to win this one to move away from where we are. We are not happy at all, we just have to apply ourselves. We just are going to go there with a winning mentality because we really need these points. But weare not putting ourselves under pressure, we are just going to be calm and enjoy the game. We hope for the best result.

"We really don't know what is stopping us from winning, but me, I think so far man we aregetting there slowly. We are getting there surely. It's just that we need that luck in the game. We need to make sure we have that winning mentality. I think this game, it is a chance for us to close this first round with a positive attitude you see. If we can grab this one we will know coming for the second round what we need to do and how we should do it.

"Obviously from the first Telkom game our matches were too close to each other, and they were not easy games for us. To be honest, they were very hard games, but I can't complain much with fatigue you know, because in that fatigue we did get chances still in our games. I think we just need to score. I think that's what's lacking for us right now. Even though we are tired we do create chances, but we don't convert them.

"I think we are struggling for a top eight [spot] because that's when we'll see how far we can get. I think the top eight is important to us because nowadays the current league, even if you are in number 9, 10, still you are facing relegation you see. So that's why we are focusing more on the top eight and if possible we can even fight for top four. But for now our focus is on topeight, to make sure we are safe."
