Usuthu aim to tie up key men

Ariweriyai has been a regular in Usuthu’s line-up since joining from Platinum Stars two seasons ago, while Dlamini, signed from a Durban amateur side, has shown glimpses of promise since bursting onto the scene last season.

AmaZulu PRO Philani Mabaso confirmed the developments.

“Yes, it is true that we are engaged in contractual talks with the two players as we are keen to have them for a longer period. Their services are highly appreciated and we are hopeful we will reach an agreement soon,” said Mabaso.

Meanwhile, Clive Barker’s team will be looking up to their strike force to fire them to a third straight win over Santos at Athlone Stadium tonight.

“All our strikers, Collins Chabalala, Bradley Ritson and Dumisani Ngwenya have been on the score sheet in our last two wins, against Wits and Arrows. We are aware it won’t be easy though as Santos have always proven they are difficult to beat at home. Our captain, Felix Bukasa, is also back for this match as he has recovered from a knee injury,” said Mabaso.
