The Chinese club on Wednesday confirmed the Argentine’s arrival, as China continue to flex their financial muscles in recruiting household names to their domestic league.
Lavezzi, who was entering the last six months of his contract in France, scored 35 goals in 161 appearances for PSG since joining in 2012. The 30-year-old won three successive Ligue 1 titles with the capital club, as well as the 2014/15 French Cup.
Lavezzi’s move is reportedly worth a whopping £23.5million after tax, as he is set to earn £400 000 (R9 million) a week.
The World Cup runner-up will join household names including Ivory Coast international Gervinho, Cameroon captain Stephane Mbia and one-time Chelsea starlet Gael Kakuta at his new club Hebei China Fortune.
