TTM lay in wait for Pirates or Downs

Nedbank Cup

The PSL held the draw for the Nedbank Cup semi-finals on Sunday evening, with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila still waiting to learn their opponents.

Three teams featured in the last-four draw for the final domestic cup competition of the season, as Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates still need to vie for a place in the next round.

Sundowns and Pirates will face off in the last quarter-final fixture on 15 April, due to their ongoing respective CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup commitments.

In the meantime, Tshakhuma, who overcame Black Leopards in a tighly contested affair at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday evening, have been drawn to face the winner of next month's mammoth encounter.

Tournament debutants Pretoria Callies, meanwhile, continued their dream run after pipping Cape Town All Stars in a tense penalty shootout at Danie Craven Stadium over the weekend to book their spots in the semis.

They will next face Chippa United, who saw off a challenge from Kaizer Chiefs slayers Richards Bay at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Saturday.

The PSL is still to confirm the fixture venues, dates and times of the penultimate round of the Nedbank Cup at a later stage.
