Jele: We will fight against Sundowns

Nedbank Cup

Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has warned Mamelodi Sundowns that it won't be a stroll in the park when they meet in the Nedbank Cup today.

Pirates travel to Loftus Stadium this evening to face Sundowns for the second time this season after losing 1-0 in the first league match.

The Mighty Buccaneers have already won the MTN8 trophy while The Brazilians are gunning for their first trophy this season.

Sundowns have enjoyed great form in both the CAF Champions League and domestic football but Jele has warned them to expect difficulties against Pirates.

"Both teams have good quality and obviously we are playing against a good team in Africa, they have been doing well in the Champions League and in the league at this moment," Jele says.

"We respect them but on the day we will fight. It's a game. It's a game of football and for us as a team, as Orlando Pirates, we are a big team also. We're going to go there because we want to win the game.

"When we get there, it's a game. We're going to fight as Orlando Pirates and we want to get results and go to the next round, and it's not going to be easy for them."
