After a goalless first stanza, Matsatsantsa were awarded a penalty five minutes from the break but Bilal Baloyi's spot-kick was saved by goalkeeper Bontle Molefe.
Baloyi eventually broke the deadlock for SuperSport just after the hour-mark from a header inside the box but Mthokozisi Balakazi levelled matters for Chiefs 14 minutes before time from the penalty spot.
However, Sinenjongo Mkiva snatched the winner for United six minutes before time.
Golden Arrows 1-0 Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns lost their third consecutive game after they were edged 1-0 by Golden Arrows, with both sides ending the game with ten men on Sunday morning at Chatsworth Stadium.
Olebogeng Ntlhaile broke the deadlock for Arrows in the 21st minute and Abafana Bes'thende were reduced to ten men nine minutes inside the second stanza after Samkelo Mzolo was red carded.
The Brazilians were also down to ten men after Moagi was sent off, as Arrows held on to maximum points.

Cape Town City secured their third straight win after beating Maritzburg United 2-0 on Sunday morning at Mpumalanga Stadium.
Jayden Rhodes scored in either half and got his brace while Maritzburg ended the game with ten men after Asanda Buthelezi was sent off six minutes before time.

TS Galaxy clinched three consecutive victories after thrashing Marumo Gallants 3-0 on Sunday morning at Tsakane Stadium.
