Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their top spot on the log after drubbing Sekhukhune United 4-0 on Saturday morning at Giant Stadium.

Jerome Karelse netted a brace while Thando Buthelezi and Ofentse Mashiane were also on the scoresheet for the Brazilians.

Orlando Pirates 4-1 Golden Arrows

Orlando Pirates remain one point shy of leaders Mamelodi Sundowns after thrashing Golden Arrows 4-1 courtesy of a brace by Boitumelo Radiopane on Sunday morning at Rand Stadium.

Mohau Nkota broke the deadlock for the Buccaneers midway through the first stanza and Radiopane doubled their lead ten minutes before the half-time break.

Thabiso Monyane gave the hosts a 3-0 lead just before the hour-Mark while Samkelo Mzolo pulled a goal back for Arrows after that.

However, Radiopane sealed the deal for Pirates in the last nine minutes and got his brace as well.

Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs ended a three-game winless run after a narrow 1-0 win over TS Galaxy on Saturday morning at FNB Stadium.

Ramushu gave Vela Khumalo's charges the lead in the 13th minute and that proved to be the winner, as Amakhosi clinched their third win of the season.

Stellenbosch 3-1 SuperSport United

Stellenbosch retained their second spot on the log after thrashing SuperSport United 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at Idas Valley Sports Ground.

Solly Khunyedi got an early opener for Stellies and Keenan Bezuidenhout levelled matters for United ten minutes before the half-time break.

However, Faud Johnson restored the lead for the home side 17 minutes before time and clinched the three points for Stellies seven minutes before time and got his brace as well.

Chippa United 1-0 Cape Town City

Chippa United moved up to fourth on the log after edging Cape Town City 1-0 on Saturday morning at Wolfson Stadium.

Thulani Mini scored the only goal of the match for the Chilli Boys, early in the game and that was enough to get them the maximum points.

Baroka 3-3 Maritzburg United

Bafana Bafana striker Evidence Makgopa was on the scoresheet for Baroka in their six-goal thriller against Maritzburg United on Sunday morning at Rugby Stadium.

Siyabonga Ngcobo opened the scoring for the Team of Choice in the 20th minute but Makgopa got the equaliser for Kgoloko Thobejane's charges soon after that.

Bowali Mogadisho gave Bakgaga the lead just before the half-time break but the Limpopo side were pegged back in the second stanza, after the game produced a further three goals.
