Josephs is yet to play this season for the Clever Boys due to the leg injury he picked during pre-season. Coach Gavin Hunt confirms that he will be out for three more weeks and miss the Bucs tie.
Jackson Mabokgwane has played all of Wits' three matches this season, keeping two clean sheets and conceding one goal.
“He will be out for two to three [more] weeks,” Hunt tells KickOff.com. “We have played a lot of games. We have to see what we will do.”
Meanwhile, Hunt was not pleased after his side dropped two points at home against University of Pretoria last night following their 1-1 draw.
“It is frustrating from our perspective because last year was exactly like this. We drew too many games at home, in a similar fashion. We don’t score. We will keep going.
“We haven’t played well at all. But I don’t want to play well, I want to get through to the cup final and get four points in the next two League games.
“We are in the results business. Results first, entertainment second. We have to understand that. We are not pretty and it is hard to watch but there were times when there was good football.
“The pitch was shocking. What do you want? Put Real Madrid here and they won’t be able to pass. We played in Atteridgeville, it was worse. We haven’t played on a decent pitch.”
