Zuke: We are prepared

AmaZayoni endured a dream spell in their debut top-flight season and they deservedly finished inside the top eight bracket.

The Clive Barker-coached outfit is amongst the busiest in the current transfer window, but Zuke is confident that they will put out a capable XI at the FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

"We've prepared the same way we want to play, we are playing Chiefs and we already know it wont be an easy task but we are confident that we will come out victorious," he tells Kickoff.com

"We know we are not the same team as last season, we lost a few players, but we also signed a lot of capable players."

"We've played enough friendly matches with the new guys and I believe everybody will be ready. We beat Chiefs last season but this is a new season and that is now all behind us."

Aces will kick off their new campaign without a number of their standout players from last season, namely, Themba Zwane, Abel Mabaso, Abia Nale and Thabo Qalinge.

Zuke, though, is adamant that the Mpumalanga outfit has signed enough quality to replace those that left.
