The Premier Soccer League has communicated a change to the upcoming MTN8 final between Bloemfontein Celtic and Orlando Pirates.
Next weekend will see Celtic and Pirates clash in the first cup final of the 2020/21 season, with the venue having been confirmed as Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The fixture was initialy scheduled to kick-off at 18h30, however, the PSL have announced that the time will now be brought forward by 30 minutes.
"The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has made a change to the kick-off time for next weekend’s MTN8 Final," read a statement from the League.
"The 2020/21 #MTN8Final between Bloemfontein Celtic and Orlando Pirates which was scheduled to kick-off at 18h30 on Saturday, 12 December 2020 will now commence at 18h00."
A detailed explanation was not given, other than to say: "The 30-minute time change was necessitated by logistical reasons."
Another key development confirmed by the PSL is that the national broadcaster will be airing the game on SABC 1.
Spectators remain prohibited from the match venue due to the Covid-19 pandemic and national lockdown restrictions currently in place.
