Orlando Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer revealed that Thulani Hlatshwayo is the only new signing capable of playing 90 minutes of football ahead of their season opener.
After steering Pirates to a credible third-place finish behind Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns last season, Zinnbauer will be tasked to build on his impressive turnaround of Pirates fortunes with silverware.
Having arrived in December to succeed then interim-coach Rhulani Mokwena, the German's squad has been bolstered with several new signings but he admits - with the exception of Hlatshwayo - they will be eased into the starting line-up.
"Tyson is 100 percent I think, he can play 90 minutes but the others need a bit more space to get that but they are on the right direction," he said ahead of their MTN8 clash.
"We made good signings but we won't forget about the young players from the junior teams coming in, they have done good work [in pre-season], they also have quality but they need more time that is clear.
"They don't have the experience of the players we have signed but the signings we've made are very good for the team but it's not so easy when you have to work with players that are not 100 percent fit."

Zinnbauer continued: "These players need a little bit more time and the injured ones we can't work with. Some of them came back so we can work with them on the field.
"We started last week with the friendly games last week, the ball strategies, systems in the game but they are not 100 per cent which is totally normal. In one to three weeks, we can offer them 90 minutes, that is the target for the new signings."
