Amakhosi, who will face archrivals Orlando Pirates in the Final on September 20, got the goals via Maluleka, Man of the Match Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Katlego Mphela at Soccer City.

The Absa Premiership leaders advanced 5-0 on aggregate, with Maluleka bagging a brace in the first leg of the tie.

He said of Chiefs' dominant display: "The guys went out and started grinding from the beginning. We stamped our authority, we had to make a statement."

Regarding the raised stakes of the upcoming Soweto Derby, he added: "It's always a tough match, the Derby. We will see what happens.

"I think they owe us from what happened in the Carling Black Label Cup."

Pirates pipped Chiefs to Carling Black Label Cup honours with a 6-5 penalties win after a goalless 90 minutes on July 26. Maluleka missed a penalty in regulation time, as well as in the marathon shoot-out of the pre-season showpiece.
