Sundowns have brought in Andile Jali, Toni Silva and Jose Ali Meza ahead of the new season and suggestions are that they are not done in the market.
Sundowns spent some time in Rustenburg preparing for 2018/19 and their CAF Champions League clash against AS Togo-Port on Tuesday, and recently travelled to Botswana to play another friendly against the country’s champions Township Rollers having previously hosted them.
This is where Morena was able to see what the club’s new signings will offer in the coming season.
“They are doing well and we are just giving them more time. They are starting to know how we play and it’s also a good thing that we have welcomed them with warm hands,” Morena tells KickOff.com.
“Jali has experience, he has played Champions League before and he is a good player. We did not see much on the videos of Ali Meza, but on the field of play you can see that he has that spark that we need. Toni Silva is a good player as well. For you to stay in the team you just have to work, very hard and just deliver.”
Sundowns, meanwhile, are set to announce the signing of Lyle Lakay from Cape Town City soon.
