Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker has joined the bandwagon of Premier Soccer League stars who obtained their qualifications while still active in the game.
'Die Hond' recently graduated with a qualification in Sports Management, with his wife Wendy Parker having announced the good news on social media recently.
Wendy, who is also a former reality TV star, also boast that her husband and long-serving Amakhosi star scooped the Top Student Award in his class.
“A dream doesn't become reality through music, it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Success is no accident,” she posted.
“It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing and learning to do. There is no substitute for hard work, 23 or 24 hours a day. Mr Parker, we are so proud of you.”
KickOff.com has since gone a step further to determine what sort of career the 33-year-old versatile attacker could pursue once he decides to hang up his boots.
