FC Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde says he doesn’t know what’s going to happen regarding Neymar’s rumoured return.
Neymar is reportedly unhappy at Paris Saint Germain, two years after making a record-breaking move from the Catalans with others like Real Madrid and Juventus interested in his services too.
PSG though are holding out for a hefty fee, while Barca have apparently added a big fee plus a couple of players for the player’s signature.
The last time Barca was in Miami, Valverde was asked questions about Neymar and being in the same city this time around, the Spaniard was asked once more about the Brazilian superstar.
“(Neymar to Madrid reports) are from yesterday. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. The last time I came to this stadium, I had to answer a load of questions about Neymar," Valverde told reporters, according to Sport English.
“Two years later, it’s the same again, it’s like it’s following me. I don’t know what’s going to happen.
Barca open their defence on the LaLiga title next Friday with a tricky away tie against Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames Stadium.
