Orlando Pirates are set to face Sagrada Esperanca of Angola in the CAF Confederation Cup after Mbabane Swallows of Eswatini were ruled out of the tournament.
Esperanca were due to meet Swallows in the first preliminary round to produce a team to meet Pirates in the second preliminary round.
However, Eswatini Football Association spokesperson Muzi Radebe has now confirmed that Mbabane Swallows will not be participating in Africa this season.
"Swallows are not part of the CAF Confederation Cup tournament. We only have Young Buffaloes that are going to participate in the CAF Champions League," Radebe tells KickOff.com from Mbabane.
The Buccaneers are now set to travel to Luanda to kick off their CAF campaign after finishing third in the Premiership last season.
The first leg of the second preliminary round will take place between 22-23 December and the second leg is scheduled for 5-6 January 2021.
Bloemfontein Celtic are South Africa's other representative in the Confederation Cup and are due to meet AS Maniema Union of DR Congo in the first preliminary round on 27-29 November and 4-6 December.
