Uthongathi FC have attracted another former Absa Premiership star as they look to gain promotion from the GladAfrica Championship.
Former Bidvest Wits, Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows defender Siyanda Zwane is training with Johnny Ferreira's squad in the hope of earning a deal.
The Cane Cutters have already signed three former PSL stars in Sandile Zuke, Siyabonga Nomvethe and Thanduyise Khuboni.
Club official Nkosinathi Chili confirmed with KickOff.com that the defender is training with the club and his situation will be discussed this week.
"Yes it's true he's training with us. In fact we have a few players that are with us trying their luck at the moment," club official Nkosinathi Chili confirms.
"The technical team will tell us a way forward because after signing Nomvethe and Khuboni we agreed to meet this week to discuss other possible signings.
"I can't tell whether he will be signed or not but what I'm sure of is that the technical team will come with a final decision this week and take it from there."
Zwane enjoyed his football with Golden Arrows and earned a move to Sundowns, where he won two league titles and the CAF Champions League between 2014 to 2017.
