Royal Eagles have appointed former Orlando Pirates assistant coach Moma Medic as their new head coach.

Medic makes a quick return to the GladAfrica Championship after parting ways unceremoniously with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila recently.

The Serbian coach has joined Eagles on a two-year contract.

Eagles CEO Morgan Mammila has confirmed securing the signature of Medic to lead the Durban-based club this season.

"We have a new coach. Moma Medic is our new coach. It's a two-year deal," Mammila tells KickOff.com.

Eagles are sitting at the bottom of the GladAfrica Championship log with just six points from nine games.
