An Orlando Pirates defender is set to join Richards Bay FC before the end of the day.

This website has been reliably informed that Brian Hlongwa is currently in talks with the GladAfrica Championship side.

"The two clubs are currently in talks to secure a deal for the defender and it should be concluded today," the source tells KickOff.com.

Hlongwa was on loan at Highlands Park but returned to Pirates last week.

The 23-year-old has also had a loan spell with Real Kings under Simo Dladla, who is currently coaching Natal Rich Boys.

Both Dladla and club chairman Jomo Biyela could not be reached for comment.
