Pretoria Callies strongly deny for sale rumours

GladAfrica Championship

GladAfrica Championship side Pretoria Callies has strongly dismissed rumours that the club has been sold.

Rumours have been circulating over the past weekend that Callies' status had been sold with the club set to relocate to Limpopo.

This also comes after ambitious Limpopo-based outfit Turfloop expressed a desire to purchase Calleies' status after being unveiled in Polokwane recently.

Callies spokesperson Doctor Maphalle has now dismissed reports of the Romans being sold.

"This is a joke my friend," Maphalle reveals to Kickoff.com.

"We are not even about to entertain this fake news. These reports are just people who want to attempt to destabilise our team.

"Pretoria Callies is here to stay and our supporters must rest assured that the team is not going anywhere."

Pretoria Callies have since parted ways with head coach Joel Masutha together with the entire technical team after a string of poor results.
