Polokwane City have already appointed a new head coach after Mayoyo's departure last week.

Mayoyo resigned due to what he revealed to be interference from the club hierarchy. While Rise and Shine have since appointed former Royal Eagles coach, Phuthi Morafe to lead the team for the remainder of the season.

"My relationship with the director was toxic," Mayoyo tells Kickoff.com.

"I have been in football for a long time and it is surprising there are still such things like interference that is happening in our football.

"I am currently at home to clear my head a bit before deciding on my next step in football.

"I just need to be careful how I choose the next team whose values align with my vision in football."

Mayoyo has since been linked to both Uthongathi FC and Richards Bay in Kwazulu-Natal.
