Yet another coaching change in Limpopo

GladAfrica Championship

The merry go round coaching show in the Limpopo province is on cruise control with yet another change being made by a club sitting in the comforts of the top half.

GladAfrica Championship club Polokwane City’s coach Innocent Mayoyo has left after having only joined at the beginning of the season.

Though Mayoyo had been doing a good job with the club in the top half of the standings he has decided to leave citing working conditions that he was not comfortable with in his line of coaching.

Mayoyo had mentioned intentions to win promotion just a few weeks ago.

Polokwane have since brought back Phutoi Mohafe who has previously worked at the club.

Winds of worry are also circulating for Black Leopards who have lost both matches since bringing Floyd Mogale and Benson Mhlongo on board.

Leopards have sunk into the relegation mud after a single win from nine games leaving them 11 points behind leaders JDR Stars.

Mogale and Mhlongo were brought on board three weeks ago.

Of all the teams in the Limpopo province it is only Baroka who still have the same men – Matsemela Thoka – in charge at the close of last season still holding fort up to now.

The rest of the clubs in the province have made changes.

Marumo Gallants have replaced Frenchman Sebastien Migne with Raymond Mdaka.

The revived Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila now have Zeca Marques assisted by Mulondoi Sikhwivhilu replacing Mohafe while Venda Academy FC are holding it out with Johnny Ferreira since the start of the season.
