Platinum City Rovers 2-1 Polokwane City

Platinum City Rovers maintained their perfect start at the top of the table after beating Polokwane City 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Olen Park Stadium.

Tshepo Ntlaba broke the deadlock for Rovers in the 19th minute and Thabiso Nkoana doubled their lead two minutes from the half-time break.

Rise and Shine pulled a goal back just before the hour-mark but they could not get anything from the game.

JDR Stars 2-0 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila

JDR Stars won their second game of the season and went up to second on the log after a 2-0 victory over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Ishmael Wadi eventually broke the deadlock for JDR just before the hour-mark and Malebogo Modise secured the three points with the second goal in the last six minutes.

Free State Stars 1-0 Venda Football Academy

Free State Stars bagged their first win after edging Venda Football Academy 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Goble Park.

After the sides cancelled each other out in the first stanza, Moeketsi Sekola eventually netted the winner for Ea Lla Koto in the last seven minutes from the penalty spot.

Uthongathi 1-0 Richards Bay

Uthongathi finally got their first win after a narrow and late 1-0 win over Richards Bay on Sunday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Following a first stanza that ended without goals, Thato Mohlamme eventually broke the deadlock for Uthongathi in the last quarter of an hour and that proved to be the winner.

Black Leopards 0-1 TS Sporting

TS Sporting went up to third on the log after a narrow 1-0 win over Black Leopards on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Sporting found the decisive goal in the second stanza, as they bagged their second win while Lidoda Duvha remained winless.

Hungry Lions 1-1 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria missed the chance to win for the second time after they were held to a 1-1 draw by ten-man Hungry Lions on Sunday afternoon at Sivos Training Centre Stadium.

Lions broke the deadlock just before the break and they were reduced to ten men in the 65th minute, which allowed Singnkhi Mpedi to snatch the equaliser for AmaTuks in the last quarter of an hour but the visitors could not find the winner.
