JDR Stars 3-2 Jomo Cosmos

JDR Stars ended their three-game winless run after edging Jomo Cosmos in a five-goal thriller on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

Nhlanhla Zwane broke the deadlock for JDR five minutes before the break and although the visitors equalised two minutes later, Zwane restored the lead for the Hammer Boys and got his brace on the stroke of half-time.

Ezenkosi levelled matters again early in the second stanza but Tebogo Mabula snatched the winner for JDR in stoppage time.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 0-1 Richards Bay

Richards climbed up to the top of the log after a late 1-0 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Sunday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Siyabonga Vilane snatched what proved to be the winner for the Natal Rich Boyz 19 minutes before time.

University of Pretoria 2-2 Polokwane City

University of Pretoria went up to third on the log despite being held by Polokwane City in a four-goal thriller on Sunday afternoon at ABSA Tuks Stadium.

Following a goalless first stanza, Kamogelo Pheeane eventually broke the deadlock for AmaTuks a minute into the second stanza but Puleng Tlolane found the equaliser for City 16 minutes before time.

Samuel Jules restored the lead for the hosts ten minutes before time but but Rise and Shine equalised again two minutes later.

Pretoria Callies 1-2 Platinum City Rovers

Pretoria Callies lost their fifth game in a row after a 2-1 defeat against Platinum City Rovers on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The defeat left Callies in 15th spot on the log with 13 points, two points from safety while City Rovers climbed up to ninth on the table with 24 points.

TS Sporting 0-2 Free State Stars

Free State Stars won two games on the bounce after beating TS Sporting 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Kabokweni Stadium.

Following a goalless first stanza, Seseane eventually broke the deadlock for Ea Lal Koto 11 minutes before time and Moeketsi Sekola sealed the three points in the last minute.

Hungry Lions 0-0 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs extended their unbeaten run to four matches after they were held to a goalless draw by Hungry Lions on Saturday afternoon at GWK Stadium.

Spurs remained in 12th place on the log with 17 points while Lions were also unchanged in tenth place with 21 points.

Black Leopards 0-0 Uthongathi

Uthongathi stretched their winless run to four matches after playing to a goalless draw against Black Leopards on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Uthongathi dropped down to fourth on the log with 25 points, six points behind leaders Richards Bay while Lidoda Duvha were left languishing in 14th place with 14 points.

Cape Town All Stars 3-0 Venda Football Academy

Cape Town All Stars clinched back-to-back wins after thrashing Venda Football Academy 3-0 on Friday afternoon at Idas Valley Sports Ground.

After a goalless first stanza, Ndiviwe Mdabuka and Ryan Baartman got two quick early goals in the second stanza for Igugu Lekapa and Mdabuka put the game to bed and got his brace nine minutes before time.
