Uthongathi maintained third spot on the GladAfrica Championship log after thrashing winless Jomo Cosmos 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at Vosloorus Stadium.

Francis Baloyi eventually broke the deadlock for the visitors ten minutes inside the second stanza and Ezenkosi found the equaliser 20 minutes before time.

However, Athi Sitshwele restored the lead for Uthongathi five minutes later and Nkosikhona Dube sealed the three points with the third goal deep in stoppage time.

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Edmore Chirambadare broke the deadlock for Callies on the half-hour mark but Kamogelo Pheeane levelled matters for AmaTuks early in the second stanza and Luvuyo Phewa snatched the winner 19 minutes before time.

Cape Town Spurs 1-2 Richards Bay

Richards Bay won their fourth game in a row after edging Cape Town Spurs 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Parow Park.

Sakhile Hlongwa broke the deadlock for the Natal Rich Boyz on the stroke of half-time and Bevan Fransman equalised for Spurs on the hour-mark.

However, Siyabonga Vilane got the winner for the visitors 12 minutes before time.

Platinum City Rovers got back to winning ways after edging TS Sporting 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Kabokweni Stadium.

City Rovers went up to fifth on the log with 21 points, three points off the top of the top of the table while Abantu Bemthetho remained in 13th spot with 12 points.
