Pretoria Callies grabbed their third win in stunning fashion after hammering Cape Town Spurs 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Edmore Chirambadare's hat-trick was complimented by Chiefs striker Keletso Sifama, Kgomotso Mosadi and Meshack Maphangule.

Thendo Makumela scored the consolation goal for Spurs, who also had Sonwabile sent off in the second half.

University of Pretoria went up to the top of the log after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Free State Stars on Saturday afternoon at Goble Park.

After a goalless first stanza, Ea Lla Koto broke the deadlock in the last quarter of an hour but Etiosa levelled matters for AmaTuks and Luvuyo Phewa snatched the winner deep in stoppage time.

Uthongathi bagged their third win after thrashing Polokwane City 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Both sides went to the break level pegging at 1-1 and Uthongathi netted two late goals to secure the maximum points that took them up to fifth on the log while City dropped down to seventh.

TS Sporting 1-1 Venda Football Academy

Venda Football Academy remained in the top half of the table after playing to a 1-1 draw with TS Sporting on Sunday afternoon at Kabokweni Stadium.

Youssouf broke the deadlock for Sporting in the 24th minute but Sedzani Mudau levelled matters for Venda Football ten minutes inside the second stanza.

Hungry Lions spurned the chance to top the table after they were held to a goalles stalemate by Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Sunday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

As a result, Lions dropped down to third, just a point behind leaders University of Pretoria while TTM dropped down to 13th on the table.

Cape Town All Stars 0-0 Richards Bay

Both Cape Town All Stars and Richards Bay went three games unbeaten after playing to a scoreless draw on Saturday afternoon at Parow Park.

However, All Stars dropped down to sixth on the table, three points off the top of the log while Bay dropped down to 12th with nine points.
