Three former Orlando Pirates players, Innocent Mayoyo, Lebohang Mothibantwa and Tlou Segolela are set to battle out for promotion into the GladAfrica Championship next season.
This after Mayoyo and Mothibantwa helped Sivutsa FC and Mangaung United respectively to qualify for the ABC Motsepe League National Play-Offs in Mpumalanga at the end of this month.
Both coaches have since joined Segolela who have also led Platinum City Rovers from North West as a manager to the National Play-offs.
'Sox' is back to the National Play-offs for the second time after his team beaten by Pretoria Callies and Bizana Pondo Chiefs for promotion to second-tier last season.
North West province has been without a team in the PSL for two seasons now after the demise of Platinum Stars.
"We learnt from our mistakes last season. We have changed the way we play. We are ready to do better than we did last season," Segolela tells KickOff.com.
"The people of North West province deserves a team in PSL next season. We all know what football does in our society and we want to use this opportunity to uplift the communities in the North West province. We going all out to make sure that this dream becomes possible."
Other teams that have qualified for the ABC Motsepe League National Play-Offs to take place in Mbombela at the end of the month include BCM Stars (Eastern Cape ), Umvoti (KZN) and Hungry Lions (Northern Cape) - while Gauteng, Western Cape and Limpopo are yet to produce teams to represent their provinces in the Play-Offs.
