Malawi advanced to the quarter-finals of the COSAFA Cup after defeating Namibia in Group B on Tuesday evening.
Namibia 1-2 Malawi
Malawi went top of Group B with a 2-1 victory over Namibia at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium and secured qualification to the last eight.
Charles Hambira gave the Namibians a shock lead after 15 minutes, but Malawi rallied back through goals from Gabadinho Mhango and Gerald Phiri Junior.
The Malawians have now secured their spot in the quarter-finals, where they will face Zambia, while Namibia find themselves in second spot with three points.
Seychelles 0-0 Mozambique
Seychelles and Mozambique played to a goalless draw at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Mozambique and Seychelles remain third and fourth respectively in Group B on one point apiece.
Both sides still have a chance of qualifying for the next round heading into the final round of matches in the group.
