Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates supporters are currently leaning in favour of one option as the newly-introduced 'Game Changer' for the Carling Black Label Cup.
The annual spectacle which pits the two Soweto giants together in a pre-season clash is set to introduce a new innovation upon its return, after being called off for the 2018 FIFA World Cup last year.
Chiefs and Pirates supporters have been given the powers to select a new 'Game Changer' that could impact the match in a very different way, as Carling looks to give supporters even more control.
Some of the options provided include Goalkeeper Substitution, Rolling Substitutions, Yellow-Card Timeout - which sees players 'sin-binned' for up to five minutes when recieving a yellow card, Referee's Microphone or No Changes to the game, amongst others.
KickOff.com on Monday provided an update of what the two clubs' selections were looking like, and have since caught wind of what both sets of fans would like to see out of the return of the CBL Cup.
Out of over 171 000 votes submitted as of June 10, 27 percent of fans have advocated for the 'Captain Selection', which would see them selecting the leaders of their respective teams on the day.
Goalkeeper substitution comes in second with 16 percent of the votes, while Rolling Subs have received 14 percent and Man of the Match 12 percent of the votes.
Surprisingly, Yellow-Card Suspension and Referee's Microphone have each received only 10 percent of the votes.
To vote, all you have to do is purchase selected Carling Black Label beer, find the unique code in the cap underliner, dial *120*660* unique code # and follow the prompts. Entry is 20c per 20 seconds on USSD.
Tickets to the football spectacle, scheduled for Saturday, 27 July 2019 at the FNB Stadium, are still available at Computicket as well as Shoprite/Checkers stores countrywide.
