Wydad AC head coach Faouzi Benzarti has suggested Esperance de Tunis will beat Pitso Mosiamane's Al Ahly in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Benzarti has set his side up for a semi-final Champions League tie with Kaizer Chiefs after ousting Algerian giants MC Alger and he's now tipped his compatriots to eliminate the reigning champions.
The 71-year-old who won Africa's elite club competition with Taraji and lost in the 2018 final in controversial circumstances within the VAR debacle against them feels Ahly have not been convincing this season.

"Tunisia's Esperance is better than their semi-final opponents Al Ahly, who are the African Champions right now," Benzarti said on Tunisian Radio Mosaique.
"Al Ahly weren't convincing at all during their encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the quarter-finals despite the win and the result doesn't reflect Al Ahly.
"They remain a great team, but Esperance will be able to decide who reaches the final round of the Champions League as Al Ahly is not at their best, despite the results they've achieved."
The Red Devils have travelled to Qatar to face Botola outfit and Confederation Cup champions RS Berkane for the CAF Super Cup final on Friday.
