A total of 11 players were selected in the squad with the requirements for eligibility being born in 2000 or later and SuperSport United talent Luke Fleurs made the cut.

The Amajita centre-back has enjoyed a breakout season in the DStv Premiership under head coach Kaitano Tembo and looks poised to make David Notoane's Olympic squad later this year.

Fleurs, who's reported to have attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs is partnered by FUS Rabat prodigy Achraf Ramzi in defence while the rest of the squad is dominated by European-based talent.

Red Devils and Ivory Coast sensation Diallo is lined up alongside his brother Hamed and Ghana international Mohamed Kudus in midfield while former Ajax Cape Town striker Lassina Traore leads the line.

Former Orlando Pirates striker Lyle Foster is the other South African included, with the 2020 European Golden Boy nominee considered one of Africa's brightest attacking talents.
