Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has confirmed Raja Athletic Club forward Soufiane Rahimi is one of their transfer targets.
Mosimane has not hidden his desire to bolster his attacking options with the club strongly linked with Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Gaston Sirino.
Walter Bwalya's high-profile move from El Gouna has yet to bear results with Mohamed Sherif's impressive form keeping him out of the starting line-up but Rahimi has now emerged as their next potential signing.
The Morocco international is reportedly attracting interest from Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg and Mosimane admits they are still studying whether Rahimi would fit into their tactical philosophy.

"Soufiane Rahimi is a very good player he was recommended to us and we are considering the potential move," Mosimane said, as per KingFut.
"We need to study the player very well to know if he would fit in our playstyle or not. We are in the time of year when so many agents recommend you players, but we need to be very careful while picking who we need."
Former Sundowns winger Luís Miquissone is another name that the club's been linked to since his emergence at Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
Rahimi has scored 41 goals and registered 40 assists in 131 games since graduating from the club's academy system back in 2018.
