The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have reportedly ordered a replay for the first round Champions League tie between Zamalek and Generation Foot after the recent controversy.
CAF initially declared Zamalek as winners to advance to the group stages of Africa's elite club competition after Generation Foot refused to partake in the postponed second leg fixture in Alexandria.
According to CAF rulings, a fixture cannot be postponed 24 hours before kickoff but the White Knights made the decision to move the game from the Borg Al Arab Stadium from the Petrosport Stadium in Cairo.
As a result, the Senegalese champions stated they were to return home and the five-time Champions were delcared 3-0 winners, overturning the 2-1 result of the first leg in Dakar.
Now according to reports in Egypt, CAF have informed both clubs a replay of the second leg will take place in Cairo and the winner will be placed in pot two in tomorrow evening's Champions League draw.
