Bafana ticket sales at 12.5 percent

Bafana are set to host The Super Eagles at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on November 17 for the penultimate fixture of their AFCON qualification campaign.

Stadium Management South Africa managing director Bertie Grobbelaar confirmed that less than 15 percent of tickets were sold as of Monday morning.

"This morning when I checked with the complimentary tickets that we have, we are on approximately 10 000 tickets, so we've still got 70 000 to go [and sell]," Grobbelaar said.

With Bafana just three points away from their 10th appearance at the continental showpiece, fans have been urged to come out and purchase the tickets to get behind the team.

"The tickets as per norm is available through Computicket and their ticketing partners Shoprite/Checkers Hyper, so go and get your tickets," Grobbelaar added.

"Tickets are sold at R60 – unreserved level-one and level-five, and level-two reserved tickets at R120. Hospitality tickets are once again through SAIL.

"Once again, parking is free. I think we managed to fine-tune the transport plan so that even if we fill up the stadium, we will once again have relatively easy access to the stadium."

Kick-off of the clash is scheduled for 15h00.
