Swallows FC have been advised to sort out their head coach situation after crashing out of the MTN8 thanks to a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Cape Town City on Wednesday.

Former midfielder Humphrey "Cellular" Mlwane wants the club to make up their minds on coach Brendon Truter who has been placed on "special leave".

"I heard the coach is on leave, I've never heard of special leave in football," Mlwane tells Kickoff.com.

"I really don't know man, maybe there is something sinister going on inside the club. I think there are a few tiny challenges.

"I think coach Simo and the other assistant can solve their problems because I don't think there'll be any harmony between him and Truter. I think they must solve the coaching problems.

"With Truter the team was structured, even though they had many draws but his team were structured. Yesterday I didn't see any structure. I couldn't identify what their plan was.

"Maybe if they can get an experienced coach you see, maybe they can have a better way forward.

"I've never heard of such a thing as a special leave in football, next thing we'll be having paternity leave too."
