The 2012/13 Absa Premiership winner with Amakhosi says a lot of people told him about Mashamaite’s qualities when he arrived at Naturena.

“He’s one of those players who will do the job a lot better and more intelligently than others,” says Baxter.

“In my view, Masha is an intelligent defender, he’s got great a character and his leadership qualities are there for all to see. He leads by example and when he talks, he talks smart and gives good, important information.”

When asked about the former Bidvest Wits defender’s improvements, the former Bafana Bafana coach says there has been a significant change.

“There’s a lot of improvement since I came here and he’s still working by himself carrying the right attitude towards his job,” adds Baxter.
