Dladla respect for Polokwane

Telkom Knockout

The Premiership champions will visit City at Peter Mokaba Stadium, with the promoted hosts fresh off a 2-0 victory over Ajax Cape Town in the League.

Amakhosi, meanwhile, were eliminated by Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-finals in their previous engagement.

"It is going to be tricky just like any cup game," Dladla told his club's official website.

"You lose the game, you are out.

"Most people look at Polokwane City as PSL newcomers but now that they are in the PSL it means they have earned their stripes.

"We have to take them serious as they played well in their previous league game.

"They will be on a high and as the old saying goes, playing against Chiefs they do not need motivation."

The 34-year-old, who impressed at right-back against Platinum Stars last month, added: "If I get a nod to play I will give my all, and if not I will stay positive.

"If I don’t get a chance to play I will support the guys and wait for my turn.

"It is all teamwork and we are determined to advance to the next stage of the competition."
