Jambo confident after Polokwane draw

The venue and date for the fixture are yet to be announced, but Polokwane were drawn as the home side.

With Peter Mokhaba Stadium as their alternate home ground, Jambo says Amakhosi see Polokwane as a home away from home.

“This draw is going to work for us even though it is away from home,” the The 26-year-old says. “Polokwane is actually a home ground to us so we’ll be okay.”

The Telkom Knockout is a one-match-per-round knockout cup competition, so every game is a must win. Jambo says Chiefs will be taking one game at a time.

“I think we must take it one game at a time and if we beat Polokwane City then we can focus on the next game.”
