Monare - "am I a joke to you?"

Star Style

The stylish Thabang Monare has responded to Mido's list of the best-dressed ballers with a video saying “Am I joke to you?"

Come check out Monare’s best fashion flexes!

What Happened?

The Orlando Pirates star is known for being one of Mzansi’s most stylish ballers and that is why his omission in George Maluleka’s of the best-dressed ballers list was a surprise!

The midfielder always makes sure to keep his 108k followers entertained with his unique fashion looks during the lockdown.

The 31-year-old's drippy clothing choices differ from day to day, from casual, to semi-formal to formal. But casual outfits seem to be a favourite. It’s unclear whether he employs a stylist or simply styles himself but it makes for a gallery of trendy outfits.

Monare response to Mido?

'Desh' uploaded a video on his Instagram story and asked the Kaizer Chiefs star, with a straight face, “Am I joke to you” repeatedly after being excluded from the list of the most-drippiest footballers.

The Dstv Premiership player seemed as if he was joking and was not really upset.

The phrase that the Thabang repeats comes from a scene in the soap opera Generations the legacy where the character Mziwoxolo 'Tau' Mogale (played by actor Rapulana Seiphemo) utters the phrase.

Explaining Monare fashion flexes?

Desh does not have the unique fashion style of Willard Katsande but his simplistic yet stylish looks have their own qualities.  The football star loves his brand labels, often wearing Balenciaga and Lotto, as he's seen regularly wearing some of the brand's latest items.

Accompanying his clothing selection, the central midfielder also makes sure to wear his jewelry consisting of a gold watch and chain. To complete the look, the ‘Lotto boy’ has a shoe collection that most would be envious of, consisting of Lotto’s latest shoes, Vans, Timberlands and many more.

Monare along with Taariq Fielies, Thabo Rakhale and Thabo Mnyamane are all sponsored by the Italian Brand, Lotto.
