Sheldon Edwards: barber to world's best

Star Style

Meet Sheldon Edwards aka HD Cutz, the barber who is renowned for cutting some of the world’s best player’s hair including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Paul Pogba and many more. Check it out!

What happened?

HD Cutz is a South London barber who cuts some of the world’s best players' hair including names such Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and many more. Due to being so familiar with the England team, he had to pack his bags and unofficially join England national team to the 2020 Euro competition.

Edwards is a third-generation barber who cuts hair at the barbershop in Jamaica that belonged to his grandfather before it was then passed on to his father. According to an interview he did with the Daily Mail, HD cutz was in the shop from the young age of two, “probably just catching on to stuff without realizing."

Why is he everybody's favourite?

The young stars only seem to trust one man with their hair and Edwards once spoke about his supernatural experience with Sterling that made him get a lot more customers, he said to Daily Mail, “There was a time [a few months ago] when he changed his haircut, (He was) growing it a bit and he was having a bit of a sticky time at Manchester City”.

“(Edwards) gave him a new-wave look, a bit of a different fade,” and the goals just started immediately flowing leaving the barber with an inbox full of people pleading to him to “please keep this lucky haircut” but he admits that the haircut had nothing to do with the winger's performance by saying the haircut just enhances how Sterling feels about himself.
