A Serbian defender who featured in the PSL has offered crucial advice to new TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic.
Prior to joining Galaxy, Ramovic worked as an assistant at Novi Pazar in the Serbian Super League for five and a half years during which time he came up against former Maritzburg United defender Dusan Stevic.
Ramovic holds German/Serbian citizenship.
Now Stevic has added his voice about what Ramovic will have to deal with in his new job.
"I see that he was the second (assistant) coach at one team here in Serbia Novi Pazar who play in the Super League," Stevic tells KickOff.com.
"I don't really know this coach, but I believe it is good because he had a good carer playing in Germany and everywhere in Europe, but we will see what happens in South Africa.
"I think he can do something good because all South African teams are bad with formations and in Serbia, the coach works so much with various formations for a team.
"This is only what South African teams don't have, formations when playing football. They definitely have speed and run so well, but the team formations are a problem there. I think this coach can do something good with this team," says Stevic.
Stevic joined Maritzburg at the beginning of the year from FK Napredak Krusevac playing 11 games before he was released at the end of the season. He has since joined FK Rad in the Serbian second tier.
