The former Cape Town City captain is back in the country after an unsuccessful spell with Konyaspor in Turkey.
According to a top official at Matsatsantsa, the club wanted Manyama in January but he had played for two teams in the same season meaning he couldn't represent a third in 2017/18, as per FIFA rules.
"We wanted to bring him in January but he had already played for both City and the team in Turkey," said the official.
"We are busy sorting out our squad for next season and he remains on top of the list."
Manyama, the reigning PSL Footballer of the Season, struggled for game-time on arriving at Konyaspor, who handed him a contract that runs until June 2020.
SuperSport have already signed striker James Keene from Bidvest Wits to reinforce their squad for next term.
