With Kaizer Chiefs currently in search of a new head coach, it is apparent that the Dutch tactician is not on their radar after Sfaxien confirmed his return on Thursday.
Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung confirmed earlier this week that the club have narrowed their options down to just six candidates to take the reins from next season.
Rreports have linked the likes of Luc Eymael, Nikola Kavazovic, Avram Grant and Stuart Baxter with the club, while a faction of Amakhosi supporters had also called for Krol to be handed the job.
However, the former Bucs mentor has since been ruled out of the running following his reappointment at the club he led to a league and CAF Confederation Cup double.
Krol famously steered Pirates to the first of their back-to-back trebles in 2010/11, in what was the final year of his three-year stay. Despite his achievements, the Dutchman was let go by the club, who then brought in Julio Leal.
The Glamour Boys are expected to announce their new coach by June 25, when they return for pre-season training ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
