Mkhabela has joined Stars on a three-year deal following an unsuccessful spell at Naturena, where he arrived just a year ago.
The 28-year-old joined Chiefs from SuperSport United but has since been deemed surplus to requirements by coach Steve Komphela, and was previously granted permission to complete a permanent move back to the club he left in 2013.
The former Sivutsa Stars (now Royal Eagles) hard man is Dikwena's fourth signing in this transfer window, after snapping up Lehlogonolo Masalesa, Maboke Matlakala and Sibusiso Mthethwa.
According to a source, the Rustenburg-based outsit are on the verge of sealing a deal with former Chippa United, Bidvest Wits and Jomo Cosmos defender Pentjie Zulu.
"Mkhabela's deal is done – it's signed and sealed," says the source. "The club is also preparing to sign Zulu, who is currently training with the team."
