A number of teams have been busy over the last few days in an attempt to strengthen their squads and Dikwena have gone out in the market to bring in striker Letsie Koapeng and hard tackling midfielder Manti Mekoa.
Koapeng, a former junior international, comes in afters struggling for regular game time at Cape Town City.
He made five appearances for the Citizens in the first half of the season, scoring one goal. Ironically his only goal of the season came in a 3-1 victory over Dikwena. Coach Roger de Sa will be hoping that the player can find his scoring touch to help Stars move away from the relegation zone.
Mekoa, a former Orlando Pirates midfielder, comes in after spending a few seasons in the National First Division and will add valuable experience in central midfield.
"We are excited to have acquired the services of Koapeng and Mekoa. As the coach Roger de Sa has indicated by the end of 2017 that we are looking to bolster the squad to create competition," said Dikwena's communication's manager Tebogo Mochadibane.
"Hopefully they will bring in more energy. They will bring fresh dimension to how the coach wants to approach matches. Above everything else, they are better suited to join us. They have the talent to contribute.
Koapeng could have his former side when Dikwena take on City at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday night (20h15).
