Dikwena can't meet Cole's demands

Transfer News

According to Dikwena’s head coach Roger de Sa, the player’s demands are too high and the club is not willing to meet what the former Polokwane City and SuperSport United midfielder has put on the table.

Alexander, who struggled with injury at Matsatsantsa, had been strongly linked with Dikwena and Bloemfontein Celtic since he parted ways amicably with the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup finalists earlier this month.

Dikwena’s reluctance to meet Alexander’s demands could open the way for Phunya Sele Sele to sign the midfielder having admitted that they are interested in the player.

"No, I don't think... I think he is a difficult one to meet so I don't think that's going to happen,” De Sa tells KickOff.com.

“I think we were little bit off his requirements, his demands to put it that way."

The player couldn't be reached for comment.

Alexander made just three appearances for Matsatsantsa in the first half of the season before leaving the club. He’ll be hoping that once he finds a club he can rediscover the form he displayed during his days at Polokwane City.
