Ndengane spotted at Orlando Stadium

Transfer News

Ndengane was spotted in a full Pirates tracksuit in the players' suite during the club's Absa Premiership clash against Golden Arrows at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening.

REPORT: Bucs miss out on top spot

The 31-year-old defender parted ways amicably with Phunya Sele Sele on Monday, amid reports that he could be on his way to Rand Stadium.

Official word from The Buccaneers has yet to be issued; however, his presence and uniform was a strong indication of where he will be plying his trade following his Celtic exit.

After the mutual termination of his contract, Ndengane is eligible to apply to the PSL's Dispute Resolutions Chamber to be declared a free agent, in accordance with Rule 43 of the NSL Handbook.

Should the Cape Town-born centre-back be successful in his appeal to be declared a free agent, he could then legitimately be registered outside of the stipulated registration period.

However, even should he fail to obtain free agency, Ndengane could still sign with the club of his choice at any stage, but would then have to wait until the next registration period before he is eligible to start playing competitively.
