Walusimbi's stint at Amakhosi was rather short-lived after arriving at the start of the current season as he managed a total of just 17 appearances for the club.

Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with left-back Godfrey Walusimbi.
The player has opted to go back home to Uganda.
We would like to thank Godfrey for his contribution to Kaizer Chiefs and wish him all the best.#HailTheChief pic.twitter.com/iui1xH6jh6
The 29-year-old Cranes left-back had fallen out of favour since the arrival of Ernst Middendorp at the start of December, with Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya establishing himself as the first-choice full-back under the German.
Walusimbi's departure comes as way to free up one of their five foreign spots as Chiefs look to register new goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, whose arrival has now been confirmed.
