Both strikers registered 15 appearances in all competitions for their respective teams last season, with Rogers only managing to find the back of the net twice for Bidvest Wits, while Matlakala couldn't hit the target for relegated Platinum Stars.
According to a source both deals are as good as done.
"I think everything will be concluded today, and announcements will be made," a source tells KickOff.com.
"I think the [Rodgers] deal has been done today, but I'm not sure everything has been finalised. I think also Matlakala, who was at Baroka a season ago and last season he was at Platinum Stars, [is done]. He didn't play well there because he was not in Roger de Sa's plans."
