Losciuto not tempted by PSL … yet

Transfer News

The Belgian has quietly taken Leopards to second place in the National First Division just six points behind Thanda Royal Zulu after winning six, drawing and losing just once since he took over in November last year.

Two PSL clubs – one of them being Polokwane City, who share the same training facility with Leopards – have taken notice of the work being done by the 44-year-old.

“I am happy with the work and progress that I have made here at Leopards so that is what I am focusing on,” Losciuto tells KickOff.com.

“For me I want to continue doing my job here until the end of my contract and then engage the chairman [David Thidiela] about the way forward after that.

“With nine games remaining I believe it is best that I concentrate on finishing the job. My chairman already has my word that only Barcelona and Real Madrid can take me away now in the middle of this project,” he says.

Losciuto was recommended to Leopards by his friend Luc Eymael, the man who coached Polokwane until he dumped them for Bloemfontein Celtic earlier on in the month.

Losciuto has coached clubs in Rwanda, Burkina Faso and Togo before while he also had a spell as assistant coach of the Super Eagles when Sunday Oliseh was in charge.
